# EasyLink Platform Migration ### Lead Developer (2024/2025) #### Employer: [[Johns Lyng Group (JLG)]] #### Summary: Migrated a multi-tenant SaaS product (collectively known as *EasyLink*) to client server so they could self-host. Cleaned and migrated code, set up CI/CD, scaffolded new databases, created data migration packages, and prepared data migration plans to ensure an uninterrupted cutover to the new Live environment. Successfully resolved integration issues through collaboration with system architect, QA, and project managers. Produced high quality documentation and training for new development team. #### Impact: Successfully handed over a complex legacy system, allowing the client to take development in their preferred direction, and freeing up resources for JLG to pursue other projects. Built on strong relationship with client through handover process. Maintained a pragmatic and flexible approach when encountering issues and resolving defects. Improved knowledge around SQL, SSMS, and SSIS, and applied that learning to other problems in the business.
